Text Notifications

Action Needed

Patients will only receive alerts from their electronic medical record and/or ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø MyChart if they opt into our new system.

Choose one of the following options to enable texting and ensure timely notifications:

  • Text START to 90373, or
  • Go to your ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø MyChart communication preferences and select the VERIFY or SUBSCRIBE button

As an ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø patient and/or ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø MyChart user, you may receive notifications for appointments, test results and more. Whether you choose to receive alerts by email, text message or both, you can manage settings through your communication preferences or through your personal, mobile device.

Other Text Message Notifications

Our offices occasionally use text messaging to reach patients about other health topics as well.

Patients who have provided us with a mobile number as a method of contact may receive a message from one or more of the following short codes: 

  • 23672 – Reminders sent on behalf of your doctor’s office—i.e. overdue appointment
  • 72426 – ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø OnCall Connect communication
  • 89523 – Billing notifications for emergency services (provided by non-ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø physicians) 
  • 90373 – Appointment notifications and ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø MyChart alerts
  • 91962 – Billing notifications for ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø HealthCare services
  • 91994 - Surveys following a hospital or outpatient visit
  • 49321 - GetWell Anywhere - Support after hospital discharge

In addition, you may receive texts from one or more of the following phone numbers:

  • (309) 250-1590 - Surveys following an ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø OnCall Urgent Care visit
  • (309) 252-4486 - Symptom follow-up after an ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø OnCall Urgent Care visit
  • (877) 360-5673 - General communications from ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø HealthCare 

Texts received from these lists are not spam. They are legitimate messages sent on behalf of ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø HealthCare. These messages often include a safe website link that allows you to take further action like scheduling an appointment or paying a bill.

If you feel you’ve received a message in error or are hesitant to click a link, please either disregard it or contact your provider with questions related to your medical care.
