Frequently Asked Questions

Whether you're an active participant or exploring if ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø PACE is right for you or a loved one, below are answers to some of the most common questions we receive.

What is the cost?

ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø PACE services are paid for by Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance or by a monthly premium paid by the participant. See the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø PACE  for more details.

Will I still have Medicare or Medicaid coverage?

When you enroll in PACE, you will no longer be enrolled in other Medicare and Medicaid programs. However, you won’t lose any coverage you currently enjoy. Instead, you would keep your current benefits while also gaining the benefits provided by ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø PACE.

If you decide to join a Medicare plan after enrolling in ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø PACE, this would result in your voluntary disenrollment from ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø PACE. More details can be found in the .

Can I continue to see my preferred doctors?

You must select providers from the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø PACE network. However, there are exceptions in rare cases. ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø PACE has contracted with certain medical providers (doctors, hospitals, etc.) to deliver covered services, so it’s important for participants to know which providers are in the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø PACE network.

Where can I find information about things like filing a grievance or appeal, appointing a representative to make decisions on my behalf or disenrolling from the ºÚ°µ±¬ÁÏÍø PACE program?

These and other details can be found in the .
